About the Artist
My name is Mallory Goeke.
Ever since I was in high school I always had a dream to create artwork and illustrations that really entertain and inspire people. I really enjoy creating work that appeals to a wide variety of people. I draw fantasy creatures, hybrids and monster chicks. I draw cute animals with big eyes and fluffy fur. I even draw the occasional dinosaur stomping through town. I believe that as an artist you have to have a certain style, but along with that style you need to learn to draw a variety of subject matter.
In my quest to entertain and inspire, I have fallen in love with using my imagination and creating crazy characters that come to life with every stroke of my pencil, brush or digital stylus. This world we live in isn't easy and sometimes it is nice to escape for a bit and visit lands far, far away.
During my college years I used that imagination and worked on a variety of projects. From webcomics, to newspaper cartoons, and even some really great children's books. Including the Turbbit book series, The Wagging Dog Tales of Morgie and Peej, and a variety of book covers.
After graduating college, I still work as a freelance illustrator. I draw and create a variety of stories and character sketches in hopes of writing and illustrating my own comic series, becoming a storyboard artist or continuing on as a Children's book illustrator. Whatever my future holds, I pray that I am creating and loving every minute of it.
Currently I live in a small town with my wife and our four fur babies.
